UPDATE March 23 2011: Bmi is to install new short-haul seating on its A319 and A320 aircraft, along with new carpets, curtains, bulkheads and a “dynamic new lighting system”, by summer 2011. Assuming the new seats are configured in a similar manner to that on Lufthansa and Austrian’s A320 family aircraft, they will offer passengers up to 10cm more space for legs and knees.

Bmi's economy cabin is configured 3-3 (A,B,C - D,E,F) in all its Airbus aircraft. On this A319, the best seats are in the exit row 10.
