Wow Air (airline code X9) is an Icelandic low-cost airline based at Reykjavík-Keflavík Airport which is due to launch flights in June 2012.

Ownership

Investment company Titan, owned by Skúli Mogensen is the majority shareholder in the airline. Other shareholders are the company's CEO Baldur Baldursson and Matthías Imsland.

Route Network

Wow Air will operate to 12 European destinations serving London Stansted three times weekly as well as Berlin, Cologne, Stuttgart, Paris, Lyon, Basel, Alicante, Warsaw, Krakow, Zurich and Copenhagen.

Other Information

Wow will operate its network with a fleet of 168-seat Airbus A320 aircraft which will offer more legroom than a normal budget airline.

According to the carrier's website food will be available to purchase on board and seat selection will be offered at an added cost.
