The layout of this type of Boeing 747 is suited to the airline's premier business routes, such as Heathrow-New York. It has the largest Upper Class cabin of any of Virgin's fleet - 54 seats, including a dedicated cabin upstairs. Head upstairs for a more peaceful journey, and, if downstairs, try to avoid rows 24 and 25 which are either side of the bar. The front cabin of Upper Class (rows 12-19) are almost like an "Upper" Upper Class, with less density of seating, and potentially a much quieter cabin although obviously this depends, if a rock band has booked every other seat, you're in for a memorable journey).

This type of 747 has the full V:Port on demand entertainment system.
