Virgin Atlantic's economy product has an average seat pitch of 31", but extra legroom seats can be bought for a supplement.
For those prepared to pay extra for more legroom, it is best to avoid the seats in row 39, as, although they offer more space, they are close to the toilets. Other options are rows 40 (D,E,F,G), 49 and 54 (D,E,F,G).
