Flying in Upper Class on this type of Boeing 747 from Gatwick and Manchester will please seasoned premium fliers who believe the best cabin should be right at the front of the plane.

A total of 14 Upper Class suites are in the nose of the aircraft. A bonus is the fact that narrowness of the cabin at this point means only two rows of seats can be fitted into the cabin, instead of the traditional four on Virgin's 747s.

Seats 12A and K may be a bit noisy, due to their proximity to the bar - an important point, as many passengers on the Gatwick and Manchester services are flying to holiday destinations.
