There are two types of first class seat on United Airlines' domestic services.

Those flying domestically on the B767-300 or on the smaller Boeing 737 or Airbus aircraft  will get the United First Seat, an old style of seat now used by many carriers in their business cabins. This has a 38-inch pitch. Entertainment on these flights includes nine video and 21 audio channels.

On flights from New York to the US west coast, first class seats have a 68-inch pitch and are lie-flat.
