Hachiko flew Thomas Cook Airlines Short/medium-haul, on a A321-200 (29/11/2011 19:39)

Thomas Cook Scandinavia A321 from TFS to HEL.

Check in desks for all departing Thomas Cook flights had long queues and took time. Flight delayed one hour which is most common with this airline on this route.

Boarding procedure was slow, we were first bussed to the stand. Crew unhelpful and mostly rude. You had to be selfservice minded when boarding this airline. One FA stepped on my spouse´s toes twicely and hard. When we pointed out, comment was: "This is my private space", drawn with a finger to the floor. As if we could turn our legs under the seat. Situation solved on board, reclamation given.

Exit row 11 offers generous legroom, though seat itself was narrow due to tray in the armrest, padding was hard and I had a back pain after one hour. Never have had this situation before when frequently flying. OY-VKD looked tired in the cabin, seats had some dirty marks.

During flight there were too many disturbing announcement, as they sell almost everything. Prepaid meal, 9€, was small and tasteless. Drinks were expensive. IFE were small lcd´s top op every sixth row.

This airline has come down in all aspects of comfort and service since 2 years ago. All in all not a pleasant experience considering the price 550€ paid for this airline.
