Ownership
Southwest is a publicly traded (N.Y. Stock Exchange symbol LUV), privately held corporation. It is partially employee-owned.
Route Network
Southwest is the largest U.S. domestic airline by passenger volume and flies to 64 U.S. destinations. The airline does not fly internationally, but recently established its first code-sharing agreements with two foreign carriers, Canada's WestJet and Mexico's Volaris.
