Saudi Arabian Airlines (airline code SV) is the flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia based at Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED). Other major hubs are Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport (RUH), and Dammam King Fahd International Airport. SV are awaiting a delivery of 12 new B777-300 aircraft's by late 2011 as part of their fleet renewal. The B777-268 aircraft serves the London route and comes in a three class set up.

Ownership

Saudi Arabian Airlines was founded by the Saudi government in 1945 and is undergoing a privatisation process on the Saudi Stock Exchange.

Route Network

The airline has an extensive network from Riyadh, the Saudi capital and main commercial centre and from Jeddah, the second city. Both cities are well-served in terms of long-haul destinations as well as connections throughout the Middle East.
