SAS » Economy (long-haul)
SAS's long-haul Airbus aircraft have economy seating in a 2-4-2 configuration. Seat pitch is 81cm/32inches and seats are 45cm/17inches wide. SAS is also one of the few airlines to allow advance seat reservations in Economy. All seats are equipped with a 6.4” personal screen which allows the passenger to watch landing and take off.
SAS passengers in Economy are served a cocktail and snacks, followed by a three-course meal, coffee/tea and liqueur. During night flights, a breakfast is served before landing, and on day flights a cold meal. Between meals passengers are invited to help themselves to juice, water, snacks and sandwiches. All drinks served with meals are complimentary, but alcoholic drinks between meals have to be purchased.
For those travelling with children there are special kids’ meals, activity packs and dedicated movie/audio channels.

fbindoff flew SAS Economy, on a B737-600
SAS are a very good airline, they may not get much credit, but they are very good in certain areas. The flight I took was one from oslo to bergen. For a 40 min flight one does want a little bit of service. A selection of newspapers and free tea and coffee is very good for 40 min. All in all are both comfotable and easy, notto mention all most allways on time!! more
Overall:
8.4
