Flight Brunei-Brisbane 4-july2010 Economy Class new B777-200

New aircraft excellent leg room, easy for passenger at window seat to leave seat without other pass moving. As always service and food excellent, staff attention plenty of drinks offered throughout flight, main meal as well as a snack even though flight 6hrs 40 min.

Row 35 either side no window. Seat configuration 3-3-3 except rows 47&58&59 2-3-2. In flight screen on back of all seats.

fulioped flew Royal Brunei Airlines Business, on a B767-300ER (24/04/2010 06:36)

I flew with BI from Brunei to Jeddah a month ago in Business, and every thing was alright, apart from a particular cabin crew who didn't deserve to serve in Business.

I asked for a snack, which were noodles, about an hour after I had my meal and he questioned me in a rather rude tone if I wanted to eat again. "You want to eat again?! But you just had your meal an hour ago. Okay fine".

The rest of the crew were splendid. Inflight entertainment system was fully functional, good selection of movies for us to watch.

The SkyDreamer lie-flat seats were confortable enough, but occasionally in lie-flat mode, sometimes I slip down the "bed" unintentionally. Boarding and arrival was all on time.

Lounge

The Royal Brunei SkyLounge is the only premium lounge at the airport. The lounge is located on the 1st floor of the airport, and offers a 180’ view of the post-immigration area. The lounge looks smart and modern, and the facilities are of the usual, which includes internet kiosks and showers. The amount of food offered was disappointing, but they were pretty good.

CaptainBob flew Royal Brunei Airlines Economy, on a B767-300ER (20/04/2010 13:06)

The flight from BBK to BNE via BWN was good in every respects except the entertaining system was once again faulty (as with other flights I have recently boarded) and appeared to be locked onto one video programme for the whole time on the final leg to Brisbane. It was also difficult to switch off for sleep but eventually did turn off after many attempts to curtail the repetition.

Please also check the 'Line of lights' supposedly on the cabin floor for emergency exiting in the case of an emergency. I did not notice any (twice) on the airbus A319 between BBK and BWN either on my recent schedule or the one in February 2010. Is this a mistake, or perhaps the 'lights' were not obvious to me 'on the floor'? The A319 seat was also noticibly shorter in knee space than the B747-300ER.

Kind regards, Bob Freer

Flight from Brunei to KK. Only a 45 minute flight so cant go wrong with that! Again good service, beautiful flight attendant crew, and a snack for the 45 minutes... not a bad choice.

Mixing-with-the-best flew Royal Brunei Airlines Economy, on a B767-300ER (21/11/2008 08:27)

Basic flight - not bad choice for short haul... planes could do with a refurb and of course no alcohol on board and no personal TV screen - O/wise not bad - no delays and smooth flight.
