I flew Olympic Air from LHR to ATH last month. I had vowed never to use Olympic Airways again after so many experiences of their rudeness and slipshod, indifferent service. The new airline is completely different. - the aircraft are bright and smart, the crew polite and attentive and the service excellent. Flying to Greece is a pleasant experience now.

The new OLYMPIC AIR is just fantastic. Under private management you can see and feel the difference. The food is great, the crew smilling. Nothing to do with the rude Olympic airlines, the state airline. I fly many times a year with Olympic air and I was flying with it on the first day the company became private, october 1, 2009, from CDG-ATH. Try and feel the experience.

Under the new management, Olympic Air has improved. The service is friendly and the flights are on time. There are 2 extra planes on standby to insure the 100% punctuality of the flights. The aircraft was a new DHC-8-400 on economy class.
