Aircraft was equipped with "new" Elite cabin. Excellent pitch and comfort in row 2. F/A's were quite attentive, and the food and beverage offerings were more than adequate for such a short flight.

Travelled in Elite class on a recent trip to Mexico City from London Gatwick. The service was very good.

The seats recline to 160 degrees and are in a 2-2-2 configuration. On both trips I had an aisle seat and managed to sleep quite well, the recline felt almost like a full flat bed. The food was of good quality however I could not find a traditional mexican food option.

The entertainment option is a portable player that had a decent size screen and 8 movie options, it was a bit fiddly to use during the meal service but otherwise was quite convenient to move around so I was not restricted to one seating position.

Only complaint was that they had the same movie options on the outbound and inbound trips and this meant I had seem all films before the trip ended. T

he aircraft itself was in good order however it did seem a bit aged, the seats and other fixings are new and I quite liked the padded blanket we received.

The amenity kit is made by Hermes and came in a compact pouch.
