For general notes on Lufthansa's first class product, click here.
First class is now available on nearly all Lufthansa's long-haul flights. The Sleeper seat is standard across the fleet, and converts to a two-metre bed with a width of 54cm. On the B747, the whole of the upper deck is dedicated to first class, configured 2-2 (A,C - H,K) and with a seat pitch of 228-234cm.
Row 83 faces onto the exit and offers more space, if you really need it, but remember that it can be cold by the door.
Lufthansa Media World, an AVOD in-flight entertainment system, is available in first class. Options include a wide selection of movies, 100 CDs, audiobooks, radio programmes, computer games and language courses.
UPDATE March 24 2011: Lufthansa is to fit a new first class flat bed product on board it's B747s, the first of which will take to the skies in April 2011. It is not yet known which routes it will appear on first, but eventually all B747s will have the new seat. To see this configuration but with the new upper deck, click here.
