For general notes on Lufthansa's first class product, click here.
There are only eight first class seats on the A380, configured 1-2-1 (A - D,G - K). The aircraft is the first to have Lufthansa's new design first class cabin. It features an open plan style, unlike that of rivals which have gone for a personal suite.
Seats are 81 inches (2.07 metres) long and 31.5 inches wide. There are no overhead bins, but instead, each passenger has an individual lockable wardrobe.
Another innovation is that the toilets are separated from a washroom/dressing area.

A new dimension in travel
Lufthansa First Class will become even more exclusive and more customer driven than before.
The overall improvements apply to all service components such as the seating concept, cabin design and washrooms and the entertainment programme. First Class passengers will be able to decide for themselves how much privacy they wish. The top-quality materials used by Lufthansa underlines the airline's aim to offer its customers an outstanding product.
Light and lighting technology can also create many individual effects. For the first time, fine light adjustments in the First Class cabin will enable long-haul passengers to get their body clock into sync with the time zone at their destination. First Class passengers will also be able to decide for themselves how much privacy they want. Top-quality materials will underline Lufthansa's claim to offer First Class passengers an exceptional service. Experience gleaned from such service areas as luxury hotel chains, renowned car manufacturers or yacht designers has been incorporated into the design of the First Class cabin.
