Lufthansa’s short-haul business class is configured 2-2.

On Boeing aircraft, the pitch is 31-33 inches. On the Airbus A319 it is 33 inches, while it is 33-34 inches on the A320 and 32-33 inches on the A321. Airbus aircraft seats are 20 inches wide, while the Boeing's are 19.5 inches. All have a 20-degree recline. None of them have individual screens.

Catering varies according to the flight time, with a more elaborate meal being served on flights of more than two and a half hours and a cold meal on those of less than this. Menus are influenced by the Slow Food movement, which champions traditional ingredients.
