LuganoPirate flew Lufthansa Italia Business, on a A319 (06/04/2010 09:06)

Boarding was smooth, but as usual at MXP there was no separate Business Class boarding and we were left waiting on a bus whose driver seemed to be averse to air-conditioning! An on time departure, with the wheels leaving the tarmac according to the timetable, I was sitting by myself in row 1 next to the window (my preferred seat) in which the middle seat is left free in Business Class. Service was smooth and efficient with a friendly German crew and cabin attendants. The only thing "Italia" was the food which was tasty, but like all airline food, unimaginative. IFE consisted of a short comedy film and a cartoon but there was no sound and no headsets available - so in fact it's rather pointless? It would have been better to leave the route map and time / altitude information showing instead. The flight was smooth, attendants arrived within seconds of the bell being pushed and we landed in Lisbon 20 minutes early, again to be bussed en masse to the terminal, but at least the A/C was on!
