Economy seating on this 747 is on the main deck as well as in the "bubble" upstairs. Upstairs is the place to opt for, as there is less engine noise and fewer people. Seating here also offers a 35-inch pitch, an inch more than downstairs and is 3-3 (A,B,C - H,J,K), rather than 3-4-3 (A,B,C - D,E,F,G - H,J,K).

Upstairs, row 21 is best, offering unlimited legroom. Downstairs, excellent seats are 28A and B or 40A,B,C,H,J,K, which are also by the exits.
