Jetstar Japan
Jetstar Japan is a budget airline venture between Japan Airlines and Qantas. It is based at Tokyo's Narita airport and Osaka's Kansai airport.
Ownership
Japan Airlines, Qantas and then third partner, Mitsubishi Corporation, each have one third of the voting shares in Jetstar Japan.
Route Network
Initial services from July 2012 will be to Sapporo, Fukuoka, and Okinawa. Jetstar Japan also plans to offer short-haul international services to key Asian cities.
Other Information
The airline will launch with an initial fleet of three new Airbus A320 aircraft, configured for 180 customers in a single class, growing to 24 aircraft within its first few years.
