For general notes on JAL's business class cabin, click here

On this 747, the business class seats are JAL's new Shell Flat Seats. They are configured 2-3-2 downstairs (A,C - D,E,G - H,K) and 2-2 upstairs (A,C - H,K).

Many prefer to sit upstairs, where engine noise is less and it is quieter in general. Here, the exit row provides a great deal of extra space.

Downstairs, there is a mini-cabin of three rows, which many prefer. Row 9 is a bassinet row. Further back, 26 A and C look like good choices despite being bassinet rows. Seats 27 D, E, H and K are also bassinet rows.
