Iberia Express
Iberia Express is a proposed subsidiary short-haul carrier of the Spanish flag carrier Iberia, due to commence operations Summer 2012.
Ownership
Owned by IAG (International Airlines Group) the holiding group for merged partners British Airways and Iberia.
Route Network
Specific routes have yet to be announced, but Iberia says the subsidiary will offer both direct traffic and transfer feed onto Iberia’s long-haul network.
Further Information
The airline’s fleet will be sourced from existing Iberia aircraft, launching initially with four A320s rising to 13 aircraft by the end of 2012. The seat plan provided is of Iberia's existing A320 layout and will be updated if any changes are made once the subsidiary airline is launched.
