Hong Kong Airlines (airline code HX) was established in 2001 and in 2004 set up a sister brand, Hong Kong Express (airline code UO). With a common shareholder, the two airlines fly Boeing 737-800 aircraft between Hong Kong and over 30 cities in Asia.

Ownership

The airline was set up by a group of investors and remains in private hands.

Route Network

The combined services of both brands serve more than 30 cities in the Asia Pacific region. 

Other Information

The airlines have a common fleet of 12 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft, configured in two classes. The Economy Class cabin caters for 156 passengers in a 3-3 setting, while Business Class  accommodates eight passengers in a 2-2 seat design.
