Gulf Air has several different business class products on its fleet.
A320-200 : This uses the former first class seats, now refurbished as business class seats, in four rows of a 2-2 configuration (A,C - D,F) on these narrow body aircraft. The 16 seats have a 42-inch seat pitch, are 21 inches wide and have overhead IFE monitors.
A330-200 Sleeper: On these wide-bodied aircraft, configuration is 2-2-2 with a cabin of 24 passengers. Each seat has a 63-inch seat pitch and reclines to a lounge-bed position. The seats have a 10.4 inch individual monitor, 21 audio and video channels, airshow and camera views, PC power point, telephones and privacy screen. The lateral armrest provides additional seat width and storage space for laptop.
A340-300: There are a total of 24 seats arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration (A,C - E,F - H,K). The seats provide a 47-inch pitch. Each has an individual 10.4-inch monitor offering 10 audio and six video channels.
A340-300 (Sleeper): The seats here are the same as on the A330-200, but are spaced slightly further apart and have a slightly greater degree of recline. There are no middle seats – just window and aisle seats in a 2-2-2 configuration. The cabin caters for just 24 passengers and offers a 73-inch seat pitch (rather than the 63-inches of above). The seat transforms into a fully-flat bed and has a 10.4” individual monitor showing 21 audio and video channels plus Airshow and Camera Views. There are PC power points, a telephone, privacy screen, a lateral armrest that allows for additional seat width and a storage space for a laptop.

We were quickly greeted and coats taken. We were offered juice, no champagne was offer but it was Ramadan. Seats... more

rainmaker flew Gulf Air Business, on a A320-200
On the A320, Gulf Airs seats are old and need refurbishment. I have to admit though that they are some of the widest seats available for intra gulf flight. more
