Travelled to India for a 4 day sales mission that started the evening of arrival.

Check-in and borading was as easy as you can imagine and the economy seats were reasonably comfortable. The crew were attentive without being oppresive and the individual entertainment system was excellent. A wide and varied choice that should satisfy everybody on a long haul flight. Food was excellent and served with proper cutlery - not the plastic stuff that breaks!

Having been in the travel industry for over 40 years and travelled on many carriers both short & long haul, I would certainly rate Etihad up there with the best & would recommend them to anybody - even in Economy class.

There was a great service at Sydney airport before boarding.

The man on the desk tried his best to get me in an emergency exit seat being 6' 4" tall.

Unlike Singapore Airlines there is no system, it seems to be first come first served and no priority for taller people. Unable to get a seat with enough legroom it did cause a bit of anxiety when I boarded the plane to sit in seat 18C, 2 rows in front of a row of children in the middle, extra leg room seats!

The 15 hour flight was extremely uncomfortable, not being able to sit straight in my seat with my legs closed. No chance of any sleep.

The food was very good with good choices. The entertainment system was the saviour of the flight keeping my mind off the lack of blood circulation to my legs.

Anyone under 5'10" should be alright, but the service was just ok, not a patch on Singapore Airlines who I will return to for my next trip.

As per your website, Etihad B777-300ER economy seats are 9 in a row, which is not true. It is 10(3-4-3) in a row.
I have traveled 3 times in Toronto-Abu Dhabi sector in economy class. It is very congested with small leg space, which is very uncomfortable in a long haul flight. Their service is also poor relative to Emirates or Singapore Airlines. In-flight entertainment system is also poor.
