For general notes on Emirates business class seating, click here.

The three class configuration shown here throws up the rather unusual row 6 in business, the only row in its own cabin. It has the galley immediately behind it, and then the main  business cabin begins. There might be a certain amount of noise from the galley, though, and also from the toilet which, in the case of the pair of window seats, recline against the toilet wall ! Some tall flyers note that this row also has less leg room when on full recline because of the bulkhead (if true, the same would apply to row 7).

More generally, all the seats have individual seat back TVs, and a good level of recline: these aren't flat bed seats, but they are very comfortable and most will be able to sleep in them. For those with large carry-on bags, note that the overhead lockers are larger over the window seats than the central seats. If you have the choice, choose the back row (row 11) because you get a full recline, but because there is a wall behind you, no one bangs the back of your seat when you are in full recline (though you may have a baby attached to the wall in a bassinet on the other side of the wall in economy!).

The seat pitch in business class is 48 inches with a 2-3-2 configuration.
