EGYPTAIR new B777-300ER will allow the customers to benefit from new innovative services, as the Business class customers will be able to find dedicated power outlets to recharge their personal devices while resting on their magnificent seats, till they feel asleep and they will find their seats turning into full flat beds to enjoy deep sleeping, or they can enjoy the personal entertainment system which is displayed on the 15” personal screen with hundreds of entertainment options. Moreover, the Business class customers can enjoy any of the 49 Business class seats provided in this aircraft.
The Economy Class on this type accommodates wider and more relaxing seats, and each seat is provided by Personal Entertainment System with screens in each seat back to enable the customers and their families from selecting the best from the hundreds of audio-visual entertainment programs. Further, economy class customers will enjoy using two power outlets in their seats to recharge their personal electronic devices.
This new aircraft is equipped with advanced lighting system which operates through colours mixing. Customers will choose from the different lighting moods to imitate the Sunset, sunrise and relaxing lightening, in addition, the plane ceiling is provided will stars- like lights.
Noteworthy that, this aircraft will operate daily service between Cairo and London Heathrow on the flights MS 777 and MS 778, while the second aircraft from the same type, which will fly to Tokyo, will be delivered by the end of April.

Egyptair is currently upgrading its long haul business class product. On the new B777-300ER aircraft there are 49 seats which recline into fully-flat beds, laptop power, IFE on a 15” personal screen and the new "mood" lighting to help customers cope with jet lag.

This aircraft operates daily between Cairo and London Heathrow on flights MS 777 and MS 778, while the second aircraft which will fly to Tokyo, will be delivered by the end of April. With further deliveries (six in total have been ordered) the aircraft will move onto the daily New York JFK direct service.

Flew business class on EgyptAir B777-300ER from Bangkok to London via Cairo (20th August 2011) and return on the same route (3/4th September 2011). I found the service to be of a reasonable quality, the staff were attentive and fulfilled every passenger request speedily.
