Business class on short-haul aircraft is configured 2-2. Seats on the A320 have a 42-inch pitch, are 20 inches wide and have an eight-inch recline. The larger A321's seats are the same, except that they are 21.5 inches wide.

Both aircraft types have 110-volt in-seat power points. However, only the A321 has an entertainment system and that is via overhead screens.
Food is served on Wedgwood china with a choice of two or three main courses.

On long-haul flights, Dragonair's type one Airbus A330s have older-style cradle business seats with a 45-inch pitch. Seats are 20 inches wide and have a nine-inch recline. All have 110-volt power points. TV screens are mounted on the ceiling or bulkhead.

Type two A330s have newer seats, but these are still of the cradle style. They have a 45-inch pitch and have personal nine-inch TV screens plus power points.

The third configuration of the A330 has newer type seating that reclines to a 63-inch near flat-bed. Seats are 26.5 inches wide and are fitted with 10.4-inch screens and computer sockets. Seats have a four-way lumbar support and massage function and personal reading light.

All three business cabins feature service on Wedgwood china and exclusively-designed glassware. There is a choice of two or three main courses.
