Continental Airlines operates 20 B777s. The aircraft, which is the flagship of the airline's fleet, is the world's biggest twinjet and is used on transatlantic and other long-range routes, including those from Heathrow to New York and Houston.
New AVOD entertainment systems are currently being installed in both the BusinessFirst and economy cabins of the 777 fleet.
These allow passengers to choose from more than 250 movies, 300 short-subject programmes and 150 compact discs with a jukebox feature to make individual playlists. In addition, this new entertainment system has 25 video games and the interactive Berlitz World Traveler foreign language programme.
