The Boeing 747-400 is built for high-traffic long-haul routes. In its standard configuration the aircraft carries up to 383 passengers in three classes.
Cathay Pacific deploys the B747-400 between Hong Kong and destinations such as London, Frankfurt, Sydney, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and New York.
It is also deployed on high-traffic regional routes such as between Hong Kong and Taipei.
Cathay Pacific's B747-400 comes in three configurations. The standard B747 has extra economy seats while the premium configuration carries more business passengers. The third variety of B747, which flies London-Hong Kong, comes with Cathay's new class products.
This is the B747-400 with 324 economy seats, 47 in Business and 12 in First.
