Buddha Air is a privately operated airline from Nepal, founded in 1996. The company headquarters is located at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur with its main hub at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and is the largest domestic air travel operator in Nepal.

Route Network

Buddha Air operates roughly 10 domestic routes serving Kathmandu, Tibet and Darjeeling as well as offering a gateway to the Himalayas and Mt Everest.
The carrier began flying to international destinations in August 2012 with flights to Paro in Bhutan and soon after Lucknow in India. In the near future, along with daily flights to Lucknow, Buddha Air has a plan to operate commercial flights to other Indian cities like Guwahati, Kolkata, Patna, Banaras, Gorakhpur, and Deheradun.

Buddha Air operates 2 ATR 72-500, 3 ATR 42-320 and 4 Beech 1900 D aircrafts.
