Bangkok Airways competes against Thai Airways and other established carriers on its main routes, so tries to offer economy passengers more than they would normally expect.
Some form of meal is served on all flights together with complimentary soft and hot drinks. The airline is also possibly the only one in the world to offer economy passengers their own airport lounge free of charge, including snacks, drinks and internet access. Seat pitch is a standard 30 inches with some seats offering 31 inches.

BKK to HKT 28/10/10 We chose Bangkok Airways over Thai Airways due to the huge price differential, and I'm glad we did. Easy to book, easy to check in at BKK, and best of all they have their own lounge for economy passengers. I'd read online about the BKK lounge and it didn't disappoint.
