Air Asia X offers Premium lie-flat seats in business class on its Airbus A330s and A340s.

Premium Flat Beds feature a universal power socket, personalized reading light, and a foldaway table. There are also adjustable head and foot rests.

Your ticket price includes seat selection, an onboard meal and blankets and 20kg checked luggage. There is a dedicated check-in area and changes to flights can be made free up to 48 hours before departure. However, alcoholic drinks must be paid for.

I had booked a $99 intro fare plus $50 of extras from SYD to KUL and had also requested an OptionTown upgrade which is based on seat availability for a fee $115. So when I got the confirmation of the upgrade the day before flying I felt it was a great deal for the 8hr SYD to KUL trip for a total of $265 in the Premium cabin.
