Flight search
Air Seychelles (airline code HM) is the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, based in Mahe. Officially created in 1978 as a domestic airline, Air Seychelles established itself as an international carrier in 1983 when it started a weekly flight between the Seychelles, Frankfurt and London.
Ownership
The Government of Seychelles and Etihad Airways signed a Memorandum of Understanding in January 2012, wherein Etihad will invest to acquire a 40 per cent stake in Air Seychelles Ltd as part of a strategic partnership. The airline was formerly wholly owned by the Seychelles government.
Route network
Air Seychelles' main base is Seychelles International Airport (SEZ). It connects the islands with major European cities plus Singapore, Johannesburg and Mauritius.
