Air Pacific (airline code FJ) is the national carrier of Fiji, founded in 1947. The airline is based in Nadi on the western side of Viti Levu, Fiji's main island.
Ownership
Air Pacific is jointly owned by the Fiji Government (51 per cent), Qantas (46.32 per cent). Air New Zealand and the governments of Kiribati, Tonga, Nauru and Samoa also hold minor stakes.
