Air New Zealand's business class seat differs depending on whether the service is within New Zealand or international, and is not to be confused with its Business Premier flat bed seat on some long-haul international flights.

On long-haul services, trans-Tasman and Pacific flights, the B767 aircraft the seat has a seat pitch of 50 inches, reclines by 60 degrees, has a winged headrest, an adjustable footrest, a lumbar support, soft lamb's wool blanket and plump pillow. You also have a personal TV system featuring nine channels of film and TV entertainment as well as a full audio selection of exclusively produced Air New Zealand audio shows.

On the A320 aircraft the business class seat has a seat pitch of 42 inches, an adjustable winged headrest, a leg rest and soft lamb's wool blanket and plump pillow. Entertainment is from a library of 20 DVD titles via a hand-held Panasonic DVD player. Powered by your in-seat, port, this offers 10 audio channels exclusively produced for Air New Zealand.
