Despite being a mainly economy class carrier, Air Berlin does offer a premium section in its wide-bodied Airbus A330 aircraft that have been absorbed into the fleet following several acquisitions.

Air Berlin offers an older-style business class seat with a 54-inch (137cm) pitch that is 19 inches (49cm) wide and reclines to 150 degrees. The leather seats have personal video screens offering the same films as economy plus six extra titles.

Extras include a choice of main courses and a welcome drink plus a selection of six wines. On flights to Bangkok, there is a free limo service from the airport, while business customers can use VIP lounges at 17 international airports.
